Construction
Construction on the ACE waterline began in 2010 and continues to the present time. Updating infrastructure and expanding the service to municipalities in the region east of Edmonton have always been key priorities, alongside maintaining the ACE infrastructure.

2025 - ongoing
Phase 8
Expansion of the reservoir at the water transfer station in Vegreville
2021 - ongoing
Phase 7
This phase saw the connection of the Village of Dewberry, Village of Clandonald, Hamlet of Derwent, Village of Paradise Valley, and Hamlet of Duvernay. It also included facilities necessary for water distribution in Dewberry, Clandonald, Duvernay, and Paradise Valley


2018
Phase 6
Phase 6 was connecting the Hamlet of Islay and the Islay pumphouse to the ACE waterline
2017 - 2018
Phase 5
Phase 5 was the construction of the ACE Water Treatment Plant on the outskirts of Lloydminster


2017 - 2018
Phase 4
This phase saw the Village of Kitscoty and the Village of Marwayne get connected to the ACE waterline.
2013 - 2016
Phase 3
Construction on Phase 3 saw the connection of the Hamlet of Beauvallon and the Village of Myrnam


2012 - 2014
Phase 2
Phase 2 was the connection of Hamlet of Lavoy, Village of Innisfree, Village of Mannville, and the Town of Vermilion River. Included in Phase 2 were the pumphouses and facilities needed for water distribution in Minburn, Innisfree, Ranfurly, and Vermilion
2010 - 2012
Phase 1
The initial phase of the ACE waterline begins with construction from Vegreville to the Hamlet of Lavoy, the Town of Two Hills, the Hamlet of Willingdon, and the facilities required to support the communities
